Character & integrity
You act responsibly, keep your word and make sound decisions even when no one is watching.
AGAP is designed for graduates with strong raw potential: people who are curious, dependable, commercially alert and ready to learn quickly.
A deliberately small cohort, selected for potential rather than polish.
The programme does not expect graduates to arrive with a complete professional skill set. Technical knowledge can be taught. Integrity, energy, hunger and the willingness to improve are much harder to install.
We are looking for people who take ownership before they are asked, ask thoughtful questions and care about the standard of their work.
You act responsibly, keep your word and make sound decisions even when no one is watching.
You want to understand how businesses grow, make money, manage risk and create long-term value.
You welcome constructive feedback, reflect honestly and turn guidance into visible improvement.
You follow through, prepare properly and remain dependable when the work becomes demanding.
You listen carefully, express ideas clearly and adapt your approach to different people and situations.
You can work through uncertainty, learn from setbacks and maintain momentum without losing perspective.
Applications will initially focus on BCom and related university programmes. Academic performance matters, but it is a secondary indicator rather than the entire decision.
Related qualifications may be considered where a candidate demonstrates the required commercial interest, communication ability and learning potential.
Primary criteria
Character, communication, curiosity, work ethic, adaptability, coachability and commercial instinct.
Secondary criteria
Academic marks, previous work exposure and existing technical competence.
The application is designed to uncover potential, not reward polished corporate answers.
